After a quarter of a century of performing site development work around countless buildings, we have had a front row seat to watch their construction as well as the rare opportunity to witness all the behind the scenes problems created by all the trades trying to construct them in phases.
The Process
Most types of construction require all the work components to integrate with each other in order for the process to be completed correctly. The integration of the construction phases are more critical with steel buildings because of their assembly method and materials used. There is very little room for error since the steel framing is bolted together and steel has very little elasticity. When we decided to have a new shop built, we searched extensively for good, local contractors. We were shocked at the lack of steel building contractors that have good reputations in this region. We could not find any that we felt comfortable hiring, so we decided to use our experience and commercial building licenses to build it ourselves. Since we self-perform over 50 trades of work, the only component of the steel buildings that we were not intimately familiar with was the steel erection, trim, and insulation. Being that we don’t do anything half-hearted, we brought-in two steel building experts with over 50 years of combined experience and hundreds of steel buildings under their belt to help us with the structure. Thus, our expansion into the steel building industry was born.
We are taking the key principles that have made our company successful in the residential and commercial site development industry and we are applying them to our steel building venture. We will offer our clients services that very few in the steel building industry can offer:
Complete Solution Provider
We will be one of the very few contractors that has the capacity to self-perform almost every phase of the work. This means that the opportunity for the different phases of the construction to not integrate is greatly reduced and the consumer will receive a much better finished product.
WE DO THE WORK
We are one of the very few General Contractors that is actually constructing the buildings and not just subcontracting the work out to the lowest bidders.
Credentials and Experience
Our founder and owner (who is a Civil Engineer as well as the holder of over 4 General Contractor licenses as well as more than 10 other trade licenses and board certifications) will manage all our projects. This means that we are one of the very few (if not only) companies in the region that has this level of project oversight.
