Taking the brilliant design of the Desjoyaux Pools system and combining it with the key principles that have made our company so successful in the residential and commercial site development industry allows us to offer our clients swimming pools that very few, if any, pool companies in the region can offer: 

• We will be one of the very few pool companies that actually builds pools.  During all the years of working with all the major pool companies in the region, we were astonished to learn that most all of them subcontract the entire project to the lowest bidders willing to do the work and use the few staff members that they have to try to manage them.  In fact, the largest pool company in the region doesn’t even have a contractor on staff and their top “Project Manager” only has two years of experience and typically is assigned to manage so many projects at one time that they aren’t able to supervise most of the work.  To the untrained eye, their pools look nice but the installation details and structural integrity leave a lot to be desired.  During all our time performing the site development work around numerous swimming pools being built in the region, we would typically only see a representative from the pool company on site during construction maybe an hour or so throughout the entire construction process.  Since Outdoor Contracting has been performing over 50 trades of work for nearly a quarter of a century, we have the capacity to self-perform almost every phase of a pool construction project. Any portions (such as the electrical or gas line work) we subcontract to companies that we have vetted and worked with for well over a decade.   This means that the opportunity for the different phases of the construction to not integrate is greatly reduced and the consumer will receive a much better finished product. 
• With our company’s turn-key capabilities, one of our crews can completely complete a project from beginning to end and move from one phase of pool construction to the next with little to no delay.  We have worked on three projects over the years in which 3 well-known pool companies in the region have taken between 12-14 months to complete their work.  We have performed residential projects up to $355,000.00 in size and self-performed 99% of the work and still not taken anywhere near that long. 
• Our founder and owner (who is a Civil Engineer as well as the holder of over 4 General Contractor licenses as well as more than 10 other trade licenses and board certifications) will manage all our projects.  This means that we are the only company in the region that has this level of experience and project oversight.  Something that you will hardly ever see is the owner of a local pool company onsite unless things have gone so bad with the construction process that the client has begun discussing litigation. 
• Lastly, we are the only pool contractor in the region offering a pre-engineered modular pool system that is customizable to any layout with the structural integrity of a concrete foundation and a membrane for optimal leak prevention that is far superior to concrete.  As most of us know, concrete cracks and when it does in a concrete pool, you will have a leak.  Vinyl liner pools don’t have the issue with cracking, but they lack structural integrity and the vinyl liners are notorious for tearing and leaking.  The Desjoyaux Pools membrane is completely different from conventional liners.  It is comprised of fiberglass reinforcing sandwiched and heat pressed between two layers of urethane membrane which makes it the most durable design on the market.  This material stemmed originally from the commercial roofing market where the product had to sustain punishment far beyond that of a swimming pool membrane.  Also, unlike all the vinyl manufacturers, we don’t discourage your family pet from swimming with the family; we actually encourage it.  The membrane so durable that it is not susceptable to tearing from a dogs toenails.
